Cooper's Hill near Brockworth, is 4 miles southeast of Gloucester and is on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment.
Cooper's Hill - The Location & Information

The Cheese Rolling slope runs from a point just above the start of the tree free, shadowed part at the lower centre of the picture, to the perimeter of the cottage gardens near the top of the picture, short but very steep! The Cockrell on the pole at the top of the hill can be located by the shadow cast by the pole.  The sunlit area lower centre of the picture is a plateau at the top of the hill.

Coopers Hill Local Nature Reserve:
A local nature reserve, 2 miles south of Brockworth on A46, with nationally important beech woodlands and a waymarked trail.

 Cooper's Hill stands between Gloucester (6.5m), Cheltenham (6m) and Stroud (8.5m),

  Just  off the A46 Cheltenham - Stroud Road, 1.1 Miles South of Brockworth.

The bottom of the hill is approximately 0.6 miles from the junction of Nuthill lane with the A46.
From the car parking field, walk 0.25 miles East up the lane to Cooper's Hill (No vehicles permitted).

Directions From Gloucester city centre, take the A417 to Brockworth (signposted Brockworth or Cirencester), Cooper's Hill (around 3 miles away) is signposted locally. Alternatively, take bus 10 Gloucester to Cheltenham (Via Brockworth), or bus 46 from Stroud to Cheltenham (Via Brockworth).
