WELCOME to Cheese Rolling at Cooper’s Hill in Gloucestershire!

A view from the top of Cooper’s Hill in Gloucestershire, where the famous Cheese-Rolling takes place.
This picture is taken from the start point of the race, and the finish is visible below. The actual running surface is concave, and hence cannot be seen from this point.

The first race of the event will take place at 12:00 Mid day.

Subsequent downhill races will take place at approximately 20 minute intervals. The uphill races are run during the intervals between the downhill events.

Car Park Closes Promptly at 12:00

A German film team arrive at the top of the hill and look on in disbelief at the prospect of anyone running down the hill!
